Single Color Coating

  • Sealed Controll Joints

Seals the control joints (lines) in the concrete slab with a semi flexible urethane caulk to keep out water, snow, dirt, oil, and debris. This helps to avoid future settling in the concrete and makes the floor more clean and finished looking. This does not promise a seamless floor, just promises sealed joints. The flexible caulking goes underneath the coating thus this add-on may shorten the life of the floor because when the concrete squares move it can crack the epoxy on top of the flexible caulk, although we rarely see issues and customers who get this are glad they did.

  • Vertical Surfaces Coated (Footings)

Customize your floor by matching the vertical concrete surfaces (footings/stem walls) in this area with the floor! Often this vertical concrete is bumpy and ugly, so we grind down the bumps, and coat to match the floor including flakes and topcoat! This is extra because it takes specialized equipment and materials. We recommend adding "perimeter caulk" if you choose to get the vertical surfaces coated!

  • Perimeter Caulk

This is a rounded section of caulk that goes against concrete walls where the floor meets the wall, filling the gap and waterproofing the gap where the floor meets the foundation. For areas where vertical surfaces will be coated. Without this add-on the gap between the floor and the concrete wall is an eye sore when the epoxy is done. Many customers that don't get it often say they wish they did.

  • Non-Slip Additive

This is a broadcasted very fine sand in the topcoat of the coating to create a texture that helps with grip. Made with aluminum oxide this additive is made to ensure peak traction in wet conditions. Be advised that all concrete coatings can be slippery when wet although, this helps.

  • Grout Lines

Customize any coating by adding indented grout lines of any available color to create the effect of tile. We use the method of placing tape by hand then coating over it and pulling it off when it's dry enough to create the lines. No hand placed grout lines are perfect although we pride ourselves on having extreme attention to detail with these lines. Create a custom design pattern or suggest one of your own!

  • 2 Tone Flake

Add a second color of flakes to really make your floor pop! Instead of simply using one color of flakes for the entire floor, add a second color to create a two tone effect!
